Description:

The sun was shining hot as the Red Sox faced another tough loss - this time to the Rangers - 16 to 10.  However, we do have some good highlights from the game to spotlight our boys from the Red Sox team!  Edward started out the hitting for the Red Sox in the first inning with a strong hit for a single.  Joseph followed with another strong hit that brought Edward home for the Red Sox's first run of the game. Joseph had two great plays in the second inning as he played first base.  He caught a pop up to first and then had an individual great play for another out at first.  As we took to the plate again, John helped the Red Sox with a single.  Cole Morgan hit a single that brought John home for another run.  The third inning brought a great catch by Blake Bisig as the Rangers popped one up to him.  He was ready and got it! The fourth inning brought the Red Sox some runs with Jacob starting it all with a line drive to the left field for a single.  Edward followed with a triple t!

hat hit Jacob home and Joseph hit a single to bring Edward home.  Blake Benefield's single brought Joseph home and John had another single too.  Our fifth and last inning proved to be the best hitting of the day as the Red Sox really scored some runs.  Steven hit a single followed by Alex with a single.  Blake Bisig and Edward had two great hits that brought more runs home for the Red Sox. And Jacob had an awesome double to bring in even more runs.  This gave the Red Sox another 5 runs for this inning. It was not enough to take the win, but we sure enjoyed watching all of the hitting!  Good game guys!
