Description:

The Red Sox played a great game against the Yankees but still lost 12-8.  They had nothing to be ashamed of as they really played the field well and had some great hitting! The second inning had some exciting hitting from Joseph as he scored our first run with a home run. Jacob followed with a single in that inning.  The third inning was very exciting for the Red Sox as they scored seven runs before they got their 3 outs!  That's right - they had to make the Red Sox take the field because they scored too many runs!  Go Red Sox!  Alex had a hard hit for a single and Skylar followed with a double that hit Alex home!  Blake Bisig had a home run and Blake Benefield brought some more awesome hitting with a double.  Edward hit a double and Joseph continued the hits with another double.  Jacob hit a triple and John had a double.  Seven runs in the third inning for the Red Sox!  Great job!  The fourth inning brought a single from Steven and a double from Alex.  And the fifth inning !

showed us a single from Blake Bisig and another double from Blake Benefield!  It was an exciting game and the score is not really a good reflection of the effort by the Red Sox - they worked hard and played well!  Way to go guys!
