Description:

The Red Sox scored their first victory of the season against the Mets on Monday night.  At the end of the evening the Red Sox had 8 and the Mets had 7.  Way to go Red Sox!  It was an exciting game as the hitting started in the first inning with Blake Bisig smashing the ball for a single and Blake Benefield following with a strong single too the hit Blake Bisig home for the first run of the game.  Joseph and John each had a single and the Red Sox scored two more runs in the first inning.  Skylar had a single in the second inning with Hunter, Cole, and Blake Bisig each hitting a single too.  The third inning showed Edward with a single and Jacob hitting an awesome double to drive in another run for the Red Sox. John had a single with his turn at bat.  Alex had a single in the fourth inning to help the Red Sox get on base.  And the fifth inning brought some more hitting with Blake Bisig hitting a strong single and Blake Benefield hitting a double.  Edward and Joseph each had so me great hitting as they both hit a double to drive home some more runs for the team.  John hit another teammate home with a great single.  The hitting was great tonight and the boys were excited to win their first game of the season!
