Description:

The Red Sox played hard to the Athletics on Saturday but fell a little short as they lost 8-6.  The fielding looked good and the boys had some really incredible plays in the field.  The hitting started out in the first inning with Blake Bisig hitting a great double and Blake Benefield following with a single.  Jacob also had a single and the Red Sox brought one run in during the inning.  The second inning started with a single from Cole Morgan followed by Steven with a single.  Alex had a strong single and Hunter nailed one for a double.  The Red Sox brought another run in during the second inning.  Blake, Edward, Joseph, and John helped out the team in the third inning with each of them hitting a single to bring in another 2 runs for the team.  More hitting in the fourth inning with Alex, Hunter, and Blake Bisig each getting a single.  The final score showed that both teams played well and all the boys have a lot to be proud of.  Good game Red Sox!
