Behind the great pitching by Matthew Voll, with 3 solid innings giving up only 4 runs, also striking out 5, and Jesse Spratt in to relieve in the 4th struck out two of the three and the last being their best batter giving Jesse all he wanted with a full count Jesse took a deep breath and threw a heated strike for the last out of the game.

With hits coming from all around the line-up, three big hits coming from Nathan Ayers, Jesse Spratt, and Zach Wagner, all deep balls in the outfield. Jordan Burden, Zach Lawrence, Steven Saxey, Peter Ingemi, and Blake Chelf also chipping in with base hits.

Jesse Spratts excellent base running skills got him from 1st base to home plate by steeling bases within the next three pitches thrown. He did this on two consecutive at bats.

With these kids playing together as a team, continuing to improve every day out they are going to be very fun to watch, and coach this season.
