Description:

The Cardinals offense was in high gear today. All 11 players scored, with Nathan Frantz, Greg Manfredi, Evan Pearce, and Christian Haynes scoring 3 times each.  The 1st inning was an indication of what was to come for the Cardinals.  Triples, to the fence, by Pearce and Menzer coupled with hits by Frantz and Manfredi were the beginning of what was to be a 12 hit attack. Andrew Willinger, along with Frantz, Manfredi, and Pearce had multiple hits for the Cardinals.

To the Reds credit, they never gave up.  The Red’s were able to score 3 times in the 3rd, twice in the 4th, and finished with a great 4 run rally in the 5th.  The 5th inning rally was sparked by consecutive base hits from Josh Reeves, Alec Furrow, Tyler Brussel, Lucas Roy, and Dru Mack.
