The Devil Rays jumped out to an early 3-0 lead as Layne Whitaker, Justin Merrill and Kendall Derr all hit and scored also singling was Mitchell Green. The speedy Cash Cameron threaten in the Inning but was unable to score for the Mariners. The Devil Rays added a run in the 2nd when Brandon Voiro singled and scored after a Alex Hodges hit. With both Mariners Harrison Pruitt and Josh Derringer on board in the bottom of the inning, Harrison crossed the plate before the 3rd out making it 4-1. The Devil Rays stretched the lead as Justin, Robert Steltenpohl, Kendall, and Michael Ryan all singled and scored. The Mariners Tyler Kuhenbeck, Steve Brown, and Cash Cameron all reached base safely but were unable to touch home plate. Layne Whitaker and Cash Cameron pitched shut out base ball in the 4th inning. The Rays continued to connect with Justin, Michael, Brandon, and Steve Stickrod singling scoring Justin, Kendall, Mitchell (the human target) Green and Michael in the 5th. Anderson Siladi started to rally his team leading off the bottom of the inning but the Mariners came up short.
